Jerrine (Taylor) Laudert

Wendell, Idaho
Family Status: Married

Children:
Our son E.J. is 23, and lives in Boise. He works for a sign company as a sign builder. He is not married, but does have a girlfriend. He loves to golf, play softball, and snowboard. Our daughter Kandace is 21 and is getting ready to graduate with an Associates in Social Science/Horse Production. She has not made up her mind what to do for a career yet, just work for now. She participates in barrel racing and hanging out with great friends.

Grandchildren: 0

After Graduation I: Went to work

Career: I had 14 years invested in banking and then I went to work with my husband in insurance. After 15 years of insurance, a friend and I opened a dog grooming shop in the back of the insurance office, where I have been happily playing with pets now for 3 1/2 years. As my husband says, "my life went to the dogs"

5 Years from now...
Five years from now I sure hope I can be either working very part-time or not at all, maybe as a greeter at Costco, ha! I hope my husband and I can enjoy a little bit of traveling, and just hanging out with friends.

Retirement
I just hope to be debt free (other than my mortgage) and able to enjoy life. I pray for good health too. We would like to do some traveling and enjoy our kids.

Other Information:
Gary and I have been happily married now for 25 years. We went to Hawaii for our 20th anniversary, and had a fantastic time, hope to go back soon. We also would love to do a couple of cruises, Alaska and the Caribbean or Mexico, just somewhere fun. It is sad to watch my parents aging, but I am trying my best to spend quality time with them. Life goes by so very fast it is unbelievable. Live life to the fullest and thank God for your many blessings every day. Looking forward to seeing you at the future reunions!

Rupert, Idaho
Family Status: Married

Children: 4
I still have a young family, and they are growing. Rachel, my oldest is almost 11. She has turned into a young lady. She is a very intelligent person and keeps me on my toes. She has always been able to remember a persons name after meeting them. Sarah, my number two child, is 9 years old and just did her ISATS and scored extremely high; we are proud of her. We just registered Kathryn who is 5 for kindergarten. She is so excited to start school. Bethanne who is almost 4 is finally becoming understandable in her talking. I am very thankful for my girls, having them late in life has kept me on my toes.

Grandchildren: 0

After Graduation I: None of the above

Career: I have worked in retail sales or direct sales most of my life. Several years ago, I joined Dell Computers working as a gold support tech. I worked there til having kidney failure. I had to take early retirement and now work with Congress and local politicians and the public concerning Kidney disease. I am getting ready to take my second trip to Washington DC to speak to Congress again about the Kidney Quality Care and Education Act and several other issues. To be in end stage renal disease is a hard thing, but with education hopefully I can help prevent others from getting there very fast.

5 Years from now...
First, I hope to have a kidney, but also to hope to continue to help others with kidney disease. (And raising my family.)

Retirement
I am actually working to stay alive to see my girls raised.

Hyrum Stocking

Salt Lake City, Utah
I am alive and well in Salt Lake City. Career wise, I have been a Paramedic, a Nurse and most recently a Massage Therapist. I have known since the late 80's that I had a genetic quirk, resulting in emphysema at age 32. I have not worked since 99. Despite several emergency and ICU visits this past winter, I am doing fairly well. I will soon get into a Pulmonary Rehab and then, hopefully , will get on the Organ Transplant list for new lungs.

Life is good. No regrets.

A Few Blog "Hints"

In order for our class blog to be interesting and interactive, I am posting a few instructions on how each of you can submit content to the blog. The image at the bottom of this entry is just an example of the features I am discussing in this entry. Clicking on this entry will only open up the image file. Make sure you click on the actual links and locations as discussed in the directions below.

POSTING COMMENTS
The first sample on the image below shows how you can post comments to any blog entry. First, click on the word "COMMENTS"
immediately below the blog entry on which you would like to respond. A comment window will pop up and you can write whatever you would like (please keep it clean). After you are through writing your entry, enter your word verification and click on "PUBLISH YOUR COMMENT". The purpose of the word verification is to stop spammers from posting automated entries to our blog.

SUBMITTING INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES
The second sample shows you how you can submit information you would like to have posted to the blog.
At the top right corner of the blog underneath the picture of the Bruin, you will see a link to contact the webmaster (that's webeze for the blog publisher - me). Clicking on this link will open an email window and you can type whatever you would like to have posted within the email. Use this method if you want to post your own content that is unrelated to any of the blog entries. You can also just send me an email directly from your mail client (outlook, outlook express, aol, gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.) You might like to include "FOR BLOG" somewhere in your email so that I know that you intend for the information to be published on the blog.

SUBSCRIBING TO EMAIL UPDATES
The last sample shows you the link that you can use if you would like to subscribe to email updates from the blog. This link is found at the top of the blog, right under the blog header. If you do subscribe, you will be sent an email that contains any new posting entered after you have completed the subscription process. Please note that you will be sent a confirmation email and you must click on the link within the confirmation email to complete your subscription process. It is possible that this confirmation email could end up in your junk mail filter so look for it to arrive within a few minutes of your initial subscription request. Please bear in mind that you won't be notified via email of any changes to blog entries or any classmate web links that are added under the "Classmate's Websites/Blogs" section found on the right column of the blog so you may still want to check in to the blog occasionally.
