Cheryl (Grisby) Gay

Cheryl Ann Gay, 48, of Kimberly, Idaho, passed away at her home Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005.

She was born March 22, 1956, in Jerome, Idaho, the daughter of Leroy and Lovelle Grigsby. She attended schools in Twin Falls and was especially proud of being a star athlete in track at TFHS. Cheryl married the love of her life, David Gay, on March 12, 1976, and they made their home in Kimberly.

Cheryl enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Her greatest loves were golf, watching squirrels and being with her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was looking forward to the birth of her third grandchild in April.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, David of Kimberly; two children, Curtis (Korrine) and grandchildren Alexis and Isaak Gay; and Missy (Shaun) Deagle all of Twin Falls, Idaho. Also surviving is her mother, Lovelle Grigsby of Twin Falls; her siblings, Louise Taylor of Emmett, Dan (Susie) Grigsby of Yerington Nev., John Grigsby of Boise, Joan (Dave) Howard of Twin Falls and Denise (Mark) Alexander of Filer; and several nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Grigsby.
